How to Draw a Drone

There is no need to be dull and dreary when drawing a drone. Drawing with different colors will boost up the energy and bring some liveliness in our drawing. We will begin with the fun part, firstly drawing a drone with different colors that is going to add some cherish attitude toward our drawing of the drone. This quick guide will teach you how to draw a drone. Let’s get started!

Step #1

How to draw a drone step 1

Get a sheet of white paper and position it in landscape mode. Find the paper’s center top, draw a small ovular shape, and fill it with the navy blue colored marker.

Step #2

How to draw a drone step 2

Draw an upside-down elongated “V-shape” on the top of that ovular shape and fill this. Draw a little circle at the pointed end and fill it with a navy blue colored marker.

Step #3

How to draw a drone step 3

Draw a big ovular circle at the bottom of the small ovular shape. A distance of one centimeter (0.4 inch) from the small ovular shape draws two circular arcs joining at the center of the circular, just like cutting a slice of cake but this time in a slightly circular shape. Fill in the entire shape.

Step #4

How to draw a drone step 4

Draw an upside-down elongated “V-shape” at an angle of 30 degrees, starting from the lower end of arcs on the bigger ovular shape. At the pointed end of that “V-shape”, draw a fan-like structure that is drawing a small ovular shape on the pointed end. Above that draw a little circle and draw two elongated lobes, both connecting with the central circle at an angle of 180 each other. On the upper side of the little circular shape, draw a three-faced lobed structure at a little distance and connect both with a straight line.

Step #5

How to draw a drone step 5

Draw the same shapes as in step 4 on the left side of that bigger ovular shape. Both of them lie at an equal distance from the central ovular shape.

Step #6

How to draw a drone step 6

Draw the margin line with a marker along the circular arcs drawn.

Step #7

How to draw a drone step 7

Join the open ends of the circular arcs with a circular line using a pencil. This will complete the central ovular shape. Also, double all the three sides of the lines drawn with a pencil.

Step #8

How to draw a drone step 8

Draw another ovular shape connecting the ends with the bottom parts of the elongated “V-shape” structures. The size and shape are slightly larger than the above central shape. Fill this shape with a light blue colored marker.

Step #9

How to draw a drone step 9

Draw two elongated “V-shapes” using a light blue colored marker at both sides of the ovular shape with pointed ends in the outward direction and connect open faces with the central ovular shape. In the exact center of elongated “V-shapes”, draw straight lines along with the entire structure.

Step #10

How to draw a drone step 10

Draw two small ovular shapes above and down the pointed end of both elongated “V-shapes” marinating a little distance using a yellow-colored marker and fill in with the yellow color.

Step #11

How to draw a drone step 11

Draw “U-shapes” at the pointed end of both elongated “V-shapes”, making it round. Fill in with a light blue colored marker.

Step #12

How to draw a drone step 12

Fill in the upper portions in the elongated “V-shapes” using a sky blue color. And fill the lower portions with a light blue color.

Step #13

How to draw a drone step 13

Draw a vertical lobe on both of the upper yellow ovular shapes and fill it with a navy blue colored marker. Draw two elongated vertical lobes opposite to each other and joining with the central horizontal lobe. Also, double line the lower sides of both lobes. Draw the upside-down “U-shape” above both central lobes and joining the ends of the “U-shape”with a circular line. Draw a circular line at almost the center of this shape and fill the portion. Also, draw two little lobes on the lower sides of both lower yellow lobes and fill the shapes with a navy blue color.

Step #14

How to draw a drone step 14

Fill the rest portion of the two elongated lobes and upside down closed “U-shapes” with a light blue colored marker.

Step #15

How to draw a drone step 15

Draw a circular line on the lower side of the bigger lobe and starting from the point where the lower line elongated “V-shape” originates. Double line this at a little distance with the distance shortening while moving away from the central lobe. Do the same on the left side.

Step #16

How to draw a drone step 16

Draw a little circle at the open ends of circular lines and fill in the entire shape with a navy blue color.

Step #17

How to draw a drone step 17

Draw straight vertical lines at both points where the inner circular lines originate. Join the two lines with a horizontal straight line and fill in the entire shape with a navy blue colored marker.

Step #18

How to draw a drone step 18

Draw a rounded rectangle below the drone, at a little distance below the straight line. This will be the camera of our little drone.

Step #19

How to draw a drone step 19

Draw a circular line on the right side of the square and drawing another similar circular distance, maintaining a little distance in between. Draw a little circle at the open end of the circular lines and fill the entire shape with a navy blue color. Do the same on the left side of the square. Fill in the two little circles in the camera with a yellow-colored marker.

Congratulations, your drone is ready to fly!
